When you arrive for your first appointment, we make sure all paperwork has been completed and gather any necessary insurance information.
We will complete a full review of your medical history, including any medications you are currently taking. We may take x-rays or intra-oral photos to accurately diagnose any dental issues.
After looking over the x-rays and completing a comprehensive oral exam, Dr. Bisson will discuss any dental concerns he has with you. If further treatment is required, our team will craft a treatment plan suited to your needs and your budget.
We recommend our patients visit the dentist every 6 months to have their teeth professionally cleaned and examined. Most dental issues, including tooth decay and oral cancer, are far easier to treat if they are identified in the early stages.
As part of our commitment to you, our insurance coordinator will file an insurance claim with your insurance company as long as the coverage is active and you provide us with the necessary dental insurance details.
At this time, we do not accept new patients with Medicaid dental insurance.
It is recommended that children visit the dentist anytime after their first tooth appears or by their first birthday. The first visit is typically a visual exam to make sure the teeth are developing properly, and an opportunity to introduce your child to our dental team. We also give you tips and tricks on how to care for your child's teeth!
In case of a dental emergency, call our office as soon as you can after the injury occurs or if you are having extreme pain in your mouth. We reserve emergency appointments in our schedule on a daily basis and will do everything we can to treat your dental emergency as quickly as possible.
